One of the best deals in Santa Barbara for adults is the Santa Barbara City College Adult Education system. I've taken jewelry, internet and computer courses and have been impressed by the quality of instruction and the price. Due to state budget cuts, the cost of the programs are now fee-based, but they are still far less expensive than if you were to take these classes anywhere else.
Right now, I'm taking a wire wrapping class with a delightful teacher named Mary. Even though I've been making jewelry for years, she is bringing a new slant on jewelry making for me.
